The Future Continuous Tense defines to describe actions that happen at a specific time in the future, or actions that continue over a period of time.
Two types of verbs are used in this tense:
- Future form of auxiliary verb (shall, will)
- be
- Main verb with adding ing form
Structure 1:
Positive Form
Subject + shall be/will be/shall not be/will not be + main verb with ing + Remaining Part of the sentence (If have).
Example 1: I will be writing a report.
To compare the sentence according to the structure,
Subject= I
shall be/will be + main verb with ing = will be writing
Remaining Part of the sentence= a report.
Example 2: They will not be telling us much about next week’s test.
Subject= They
shall not be/will not be + main verb with ing = will not be telling
Remaining Part of the sentence= us much about next week’s test.
Structure 2:
Question Form (Yes/No Question)
Shall/Will/Shall not/Will not + Subject + be + Main verb with ing + Remaining Part of the sentence (If have)?
Example 1: Will I be playing football?
To compare the sentence according to the structure,
Shall/Will = Will
Subject + be + Main verb with ing = I be playing
Remaining Part of the sentence= football?
Example 2: Will not you be talking English?
To compare the sentence according to the structure,
(Shall/Will) not = Will not
Subject + be + Main verb with ing = you be taking
Remaining Part of the sentence= English?

Wh Word ( What/Who/How/Which etc.)+ shall/will/shall not/will not + Subject + be + Main Verb with ing + Remaining Part of the sentence (If have)?
Example 1: What will you be doing there tomorrow?

shall/will/shall not/will not = will
Subject + be + Main verb with ing = you be doing
Remaining Part of the sentence= there tomorrow?
Example 2: Why will not they coming in this shop tomorrow?

Remaining Part of the sentence= the following sentence has no remaining part.

shall/will + Subject + be + Main Verb with ing = will you be eating

Future Continuous tense is often used to talk about plans, arrangements, or predictions for the future. Overalls, it reflects an action that takes place continuously but in the future.
